PRESENTATIONS: APRIL 12

This is really early, but I want to make sure you all have plenty of time to think about this, gather your resources, and plan the project.

Online Curated Exhibitions
(Present in class on April 12)

parameters:
+ using the theme or idea that you have identified to work with this semester, curate 5-7 artworks that intersect with this theme
+ use weebly.com to organize the information and publish the exhibition

objectives:
+ to deepen the understanding of your work via exploration through the lens of one facet or central theme
+ to strengthen your case for relevance by contextualizing yourself through connections to historical and contemporary art and artists
+ to master this free & simple web tool, and to experience the power of online publishing

include the following pages on your weebly site:

1. home page - title and short description of the exhibition, possibly include an image.
(You can think of the home page, metaphorically, as the approach to your house--  its appearance is an indicator of what's inside.)

2. curator's statement - 350 word statement about the exhibition, the central theme/idea, why you chose it, etc

3. the works - include images of 5-7 works you have selected along with artist name, title, date, medium, dimensions.

4. links to a minimum of 3 online resources (articles/websites/etc) that supported your research and/or provide further information about your ideas, topic, or theme.
